At Timpanogos Regional Hospital, we are standing by to provide effective and compassionate care to every person who walks through our doors. Our ER is recognized as a specialized treatment center for chest pain, stroke care and trauma care. We also extend our emergency services to our surrounding communities through our freestanding emergency care center located in Westlake.
We provide many types of advanced emergency care, including:
- Heart attacks — Our ER uses leading edge technology and techniques to provide lifesaving heart care. Our cardiovascular services include interventional treatments and a cardiac catheterization lab.
- Pediatric emergency care — At our Timpanogos pediatric ER, our friendly emergency physicians and nurses greet your child with a smile and get them in-and-out quickly so there is little fear and even less waiting. If they need extra or more critical care, we also offer pediatric intensive care at our emergency pediatric unit.
- Stroke care — With advanced certification as a Primary Stroke Center from the Joint Commission, our emergency physicians work with neurologists, neurosurgeons and rehabilitative specialists to quickly treat hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes and maximize recovery.
- Trauma care — Our ER is designated as a Level III Trauma Center by the Utah Department of Health. With a collaborative team of emergency medicine physicians, specially trained trauma nurses, general surgeons and on-call specialists, our trauma team is dedicated to treating your most critical injuries.
Freestanding emergency center location
In addition to our main campus ER, we also serve the community with our freestanding emergency care center. Westlake Emergency Center offers full-service emergency care for all types of acute injuries and illnesses 24/7, 365 days a year, with on-site laboratory and imaging services.
