Emergency care
Emergency care is the treatment of unexpected, severe medical injuries or infections. It is typically delivered in an emergency room or an ambulance. Our emergency medicine physicians stabilize your condition as quickly as possible to prepare you for the next step of care or discharge.
North Logan emergency room services
We provide a wide range of emergency services for everything from minor to life threatening conditions, including heart attacks and strokes.
Types of emergency care we offer
At Cache Valley Hospital, our emergency room (ER) is recognized as a treatment center for chest pain and trauma injuries. We have board-certified ER physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and emergency care technicians who work collaboratively to provide coordinated, high quality and compassionate care.
Our ER provides many types of specialized care, including:
- Heart attacks — We are an accredited Chest Pain Center recognized by the American College of Cardiology and committed to providing the highest standards of emergency heart care to the communities we serve.
- Pediatric emergency care — Our ER doctors are specially trained and equipped to diagnose and treat children of all ages. We understand a medical emergency can feel scary for a child or teenager, and their parents too, and we will work to keep you all comfortable and informed.
- Stroke care — When it comes to stroke, every second counts. That's why we're standing by 24/7 to provide quick and effective lifesaving treatments.
- Trauma care — As a Level IV Trauma Center designated by the Utah Department of Health, our ER is staffed with highly trained providers dedicated to providing quick, effective care for moderate injuries and critical emergencies. We offer access to specialized treatment, resources and equipment to stabilize and prevent serious complications from your injuries.
