Mental health and wellness
Mental health is just as important as physical health. It includes your emotional, psychological and social well-being. With the right diagnosis and treatments, you can get what you need to live as healthy and happy a life as possible.
Our Alcohol and Treatment Center (ACT)
Our ACT program provides compassionate, comprehensive care for individuals seeking medical detox and stabilization from substance dependence. With a team of experienced healthcare professionals, we are committed to helping each patient achieve a healthier tomorrow, offering:
- Inpatient medical detoxification: Our center offers inpatient medical detox services designed to support patients through the initial stages of withdrawal and stabilization.
- 24/7 monitoring: Our medical team monitors patients round the clock for at least three days during withdrawal to ensure safe and effective care.
- Specialized support for substance withdrawal: Our services address withdrawal symptoms from alcohol, opiates and benzodiazepines, helping patients manage potentially severe withdrawal experiences.
- Peer interaction opportunities: Patients have the option to engage with others undergoing detox, creating a supportive environment for recovery.
- Discharge planning assistance: To support long-term recovery, we assist patients in developing a discharge plan and connect them with resources and follow-up care for their journey forward.
- Admission and scheduling: Before admission to our program, a patient may need to undergo an initial alcohol detox. Cache Valley Hospital collaborates with Ogden Regional Medical Center for intake, providing a seamless entry into our treatment process. Most insurance plans cover detox services.
