Emergency care
Emergency care is the treatment of unexpected, severe medical injuries or infections. It is typically delivered in an emergency room or an ambulance. Our emergency medicine physicians stabilize your condition as quickly as possible to prepare you for the next step of care or discharge.
Ogden emergency services
Our team of board-certified emergency physicians are committed to delivering high-quality, accessible care for all major and minor emergencies.
Types of emergency care we offer
Our ER is recognized as a specialized treatment center for chest pain, stroke care and trauma care. As part of our comprehensive trauma services, we are proud to offer orthopedic traumatology. This is a specialty service in which orthopedic trauma surgeons treat traumatic injuries to bones, joints, muscles and the surrounding soft tissues.
Extending our comprehensive emergency and trauma care throughout the region, our on-site AirCare helicopter ambulance provides safe, efficient medical air transport to our hospital from accident scenes and other healthcare facilities.
We offer a diverse range of specialized emergency care services, including:
- Heart attacks — We have proven exceptional capabilities in treating those who show signs of heart attack. As a recognized Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI by the American College of Cardiology, our ER physicians and cardiologists partner with local first responders. Together, they streamline diagnosis and treatment for those arriving by ambulance with the help of advanced in-transit technology. Our services include interventional procedures and a catheterization lab.
